The Feedo app

Client: Startsiden.no
App concept: DayTwo and Hausmann
UX: DayTwo and Hausmann
Graphic design and visual idea: Kristine Gulheim and Rune Tyvold
Film: Hausmann, Spindel Film and Rune Bendixen

Startsiden.no wanted a concept to make them more relevant for new users. DayTwo and Hausmann came up with the concept Feedo.

Feedo is an app that provides you with all kinds of content, based on a what you prefer. The app searches through relevant pages to provide you with relevant content. All in one place. The nice thing is that the app learns what you like and becomes better in finding new relevant content, both what you want and didn't know you wanted. It gives a snapshot of what's happening in the world, both familiar and close, strange and exciting, new and useful. All the time.

Feedo is useful and easy to use, innovative, credible, and fun – both personally and socially – and gives you a quick overview of your personal worldview. Therefore, Feedo is invaluable.

The Feedo app grew quickly after release but was unfortunately taken off market after a while because of some internal decisions.

Fun fact

The Feedo app got a lot of attention in the media – some of it thanks to an angry reality-TV personality.

The “Circle of choices”

On the early sketching we wanted to use the logo as an interactive element to set your own preferences, but this neat feature was abandoned because of production cost.
